Lost Souls, Dark Spirits and Fear: What I Believe After a Lifetime of Working with Spirit
Not everyone working in the spiritual world shares the same beliefs, and today I want to talk about lost souls, dark spirits and negative spirits.
I don’t believe in lost souls, evil spirits or spirits that harm us in any way.
My belief isn’t based on wanting to see the light in everything or choosing to believe that everything is positive. It’s based on a lifetime of talking to spirits, visiting the afterlife and working closely with my spirit team.
If lost souls or harmful spirits did exist, I would be willing to work with them and help them in any way i could. I wouldn’t turn away from them. So my beliefs aren’t based on simply wanting everything to be positive; they’re based on what I’ve learned through my experiences.
I’ve also spent years exploring this subject from different angles. I’ve interviewed and worked with people about their experiences, joined paranormal groups, taken part in investigations, spent nights in cemeteries and “haunted houses”, and witnessed what people describe as exorcisms. I’ve listened, observed and asked questions, and all of this has continued to confirm what the spirits have always shown me.
What the spirits have taught me about energy
My understanding is that we are all energy. As humans, our energy operates at a slower, denser vibration. When we return to the spirit world, our vibration is higher, our energy field is lighter and our perspective changes.
Spirits see the bigger picture. They have a different perspective because they are no longer experiencing life through the same limitations we have as human beings. They don’t hold on to hatred, anger or jealousy as we can. They don’t have the same reasons to hold grudges, seek revenge or want to cause harm.
Why I teach what I believe
That doesn’t mean I expect everyone to agree with me. We all build our beliefs through different experiences, influences and sources of information. The same experience can be interpreted in different ways, and I fully respect that.
I’m not here to change anyone’s beliefs. I’m here to share what I believe, explain my experiences and answer questions from those who want to understand my perspective.
But I also expect the same respect in return.
If someone believes in dark spirits or lost souls, that’s their choice. I don’t believe in them, and I’m equally entitled to my beliefs. Someone can’t ask me to respect their beliefs while challenging or disrespecting mine simply because we see things differently.
We can have healthy conversations, exchange ideas or agree to disagree. The spirit world doesn’t change according to what we believe.
There is an important distinction I want to make.
Respecting someone’s beliefs is not the same as supporting a medium who uses fear in their work.
I can respect that someone believes in dark spirits, lost souls or negative energies without supporting the way they communicate those beliefs to others, especially between a medium and their client.
I have a real problem with mediums who tell people that their loved ones are suffering on the other side, are lost or are trapped in a dark place. I don’t support anyone who frightens clients, makes them feel unsafe or suggests they need to pay for help or protection because of something frightening they’ve been told.
I also don’t support using fear to gain followers, boost egos or make sales.
People can believe what they want. Believe in Father Christmas if they want to. That’s their choice. But don’t use fear to make other people buy into their beliefs.
Negative energy is not the same as negative spirits
Although I don’t believe in negative spirits, I do believe negative energy is very real. These two things are often confused, and I think it’s important to understand the difference.
Negative energy can be frightening and confusing, especially when someone doesn’t understand what they’re experiencing or has been told to expect dark spirits. Yet spirits are not to blame for negative energy.
I know not everyone will agree with what I’ve written, and that’s absolutely fine.
I’ve spent a lifetime working with spirit, and I’ll continue to teach what I’ve been shown and what I’ve experienced. I’m not going to change my teachings because someone else believes something different, and I’m not asking anyone to change theirs.
I respect other people’s right to believe in dark spirits and lost souls. I ask that they respect my right not to believe in them.
We don’t have to agree to treat each other with respect. We can share our experiences, explain our understanding and remain open to learning from one another.
