Celtic Cross Tarot Spread

The Celtic Cross Spread is like the Marmite of tarot Spreads. Tarot readers tend to love it or leave it. What is agreed upon is that the Celtic Cross Spread is everywhere when it comes to tarot. It is in most books, tons of tarot courses and teachings and comes in many of the little white books that come with decks. 

First brought to fame by Arthur Waite in his book “the pictorial key to the tarot” in 1911, the Celtic Cross Spread has been popular since. 

It is not an easy spread to learn

Given it’s popularity with students you would think it would be an easy spread but it is far from an easy spread to learn. It can actually be the headache of many tarot readers and this is why there are many variants of the spread around.

Tarot readers have fine tuned this spread for ease or to fulfil their tarot needs and make the spread a little more individual.

I use the Celtic Tarot deck for this video as I thought it would be fun and a good way to use the deck that I don’t normally use.
